I'm wondering about the origin of these illustrations from 1939--I found 6 or 8. Maybe a calendar?

(Apologies for the earlier post--images were oversized.)

I think they might have been used  as a prop or some kind of visual aide in an educational setting. Possibly a Agricultural Trade School, or technical Institute.

I have about 6 or 7 posters depicting the use of Allis Chalmers equipment in different types of crop farming. By the tractors shown, they came out in the late 50's through the 60's. They are numbered individually. Each one is is approx. 24X30. I stumbled on them at an estate auction of a well-known local Superintendent of County Schools, so i think that's how he came by them.

I'd love to frame and hang them, but i lack enough wall space.

Since they cover a variety of Divisions of Allis, i think you are right..  An INTRODUCTION to Allis for Training, Education, etc... NICE !!

Besides Tractors, Allis was VERY BIG into Electric Generators, Transformers, Switches.. they had their own Foundary to cast Engines , Pumps, and Generator Casings that weighed hundreds of tons.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
