Is it just me, or does an "older"(70,000+mile) vehicle run SOOOO much smoother and quieter after an oil change ??

Not sure?? My older trucks, over 70 never got a oil change sorta, a quart a week, go from there! One was a Ford, one was a Chevy. So it was a weekly type change there!  BUT if you turn the radio up, to real loud, ya will never know the difference!  That is what my thoughts are! LOL  But the oil a week is true! Just park in gravel.

If you go by mileage as an indicator of age, mine sounds the same.
