Thad, sent you an email. Guess I better start my generator today in case Shameless gets lucky. That -2 is waaayyyy too cold for me, the good powdery snow I can tolerate. We have had rain for the past few days but the temperature has stayed in the low 40's, too wet to do anything much at the farm. I hate it for the farmers that have to get out and feed livestock in the snow and cold and for anyone that has to work on the roadways and deal with idiots. You stay safe as well as warm and dry. ------------- Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God. |

Dang,,Thad,,sounds like you gots some serious problems,,,the least of which sounds like ya'll musta lost the electricity,,,?? BBRrrrrr,,,hope you gots a wood stove or fireplace,,?? It was 0° at 5 Am this morning here and the snow is also very dry,,almost like salt,,, Anything we can help with???

No wood stove but running furnace with a generator. We stay somewhat prepared. |

Well, Thad,,that's good,,,  I went ahead and had the propane tank topped off this morning, when I went to pay the bill for last month. Told the lady that Wednesday would be OK to fill when it wasn't so friggin COLD,,,, Got home and the driver was waitin on me at the gate,,,I told him he coulda waited til Wed or even Fri when it warmed up,,,he tells me they just got a heads up that there was another storm due by wed Pm,,,,WHAT'??? just you wait till I talk with mr snow,,,!!!!

Joe you could have kept it, we have 8 - 12' of snow coming with freezing rain today and Tuesday then another shot of snow coming Thursday & Friday. Sure hope this stuff ends and spring comes

We’ve had Propane ordered over a week. They can’t get here for the ice. As of yesterday we are still good. Supposed to get above freezing Friday. Power back in. Got to be a rough job being a lineman. |

Yeah, Thad,,most of those fellas are always thinkin about the customer first,,,, Just like this driver,,,I had told the dispatcher that wed or even Friday would be OK for the delivery so it would not be so friggin cold for the driver,,,,,,,BUT,,The driver havin been told ANOTHER storm is on the way by Wed,,,,took it on his own to top off my tank today,,! There is still many great people out there,,,,
