Hey everyone!
Honestly, I'm just curious if anyone happens to know a rough, or exact, count of how many 190XTs were made total, and how many were Diesel vs Gas vs LP?

I've tried looking it up, and I really can't find any information other than "few" were made of gas and LP. Any ideas?

Curious to see what others might have to share! Thanks!

Production numbers are in Norm Swinford's book Allis Chalmers tractors and Equipment.  Now out of print, but might find on ebay if you get lucky.  The best AC book anywhere.

The Swinford book is excellent, but after looking through my copy I could not find the answer to your question.

@Adam Stratton
Ahh, bummer! Thank you for letting us know though! I'm sure it's worth the money, but $250 is a lot to spend and I'd hate for it to not have one of the things I was expecting!
Thanks again!

22,419 was the total number of 190 XT's built from 1965 thru 1971. Out of that I'd guess 80% were diesels. More gassers in the early years and towards 1971, I'll bet you couldn't give a gas tractor away. This is only a guess based on how many gassers I've ever seen and they were few and I've never seen an LPG model.

@DrAllis
Thank you for that!
While I do like the idea of diesel more, I know I can rebuild a gasoline engine from the ground up, so I like having my gasser - in case I ever need to rebuild an engine!
Also, so far I haven't had any issues with it not having enough power. Realistically I only needed 40 HP+/-, so this 90HP is more than enough!
