Trying to find out if one of my D12's was suppose to have a traction booster gauge or not. I have a D10 serial# 9234 and another D12 serial# 5789 and they all have one. The D12 serial# 10027 does not and cannot see if it ever had one. All three tractors have a factory 3pt. hitch. How can I tell if this one is missing or never had one.
Thanks

Does the Gauge Panel hole have a blank over it? Or another gauge is there?
By then I'd imagine they all came with one. All "D" series I have seen had one.

Looking at the online parts, the first ones didn’t have them, then went through two changes if you look at the serial number breaks in the right column

No blank there but this D12 dash has been apart a few times.Figure ill just put one in that doesn't function. None of the gauges are original, but it does have the tach and it works. The wiring was so jacked up i replaced it with aone wire harness, new plugs, cap, rotor, coil, new gauges, and coil. Now i cant get it to start even with starting fluid. Got spark and the carb has been rebuilt completely. got me stumped! Been tackling this for hours, time to step away and rethink.

Check your plug wire order. Sounds like they are out of order maybe?
1243 is right
