Dose anyone have a good way to lap these power cells? Or they just a job to do?

I've used valve lapping compound; like for hand-lapping of engine valves.
Rotate alternately by hand to get a smooth finish.  Doesn't take all that long.
Keep in order.

And make sure all surfaces are CLEAN before final assembly.

Thanks Gatz. That's exactly what I'm doing. It seem to be taking awhile to get the desired results.Is the outside most bevel the only sealing surface besides the cap?
