That is correct,  I think the massey will become a badged fendt.  If you every take a tour of the assembly plant in hesston you'll understand why they are dropping massey.  Probably at least 8 to 1 gleaners to massey.  When I was there the entire final assembly line only had one massey on it, out of probably 20+ combines, that was in 2007.   Massey might make it longer if the problems with the fendt continue, don't know what they are just what I was told.

They already did. They have just been selling inventory the last year. They were making 4 Gleaners to one Massey. Massey guys are mad know since they won't badge a Ideal with Massey for North America. So they are going to lose some of those customers now. Just another trying to satisfy the world views when North America is different than every where else. Can't fix stupid.

Hadn't heard that Daeler,  I know they have badged massey ones in Europe, figure that's coming here, but if they're trying to make a hard push in NA with fendt then your probably right.  I've also heard the all challenger tractors will become fendt. Don't know just what I was told, don't know if that means yellow is gone or if they are going to paint fendt yellow(already do some).  It's interesting that all most agco dealers in this area are now fendt, but I don't know any that are a ideal dealer yet.

I call the Fendt color "Calf Sh** green" They could easily increase their sales by painting them orange with black belly.

I would take that Green over the other Overpriced Green & Yellow any day of the week. I dont think the Fendt Green is all that bad . They need to get down to 1 Core Brand Period. I like the Newer Massy Combines. I think they are Better then the Ideal but that is another AGCO Decision they have to live  with. You guys are right about the Massy Guys feeling the Pain that the Allis & White guys felt when they droped those brands. I think the Fendt is the Best out of the Brands that they have left. They need to be painted Orange with AGCO on the Side . As far as the Challenger goes,i hate to see it disappear. The problem is they are painting them green & putting a good running engine in them that does Better on Fuel. They need to give  you the option of color with one name, like White did with the Oliver, MMoline, Cockshutt & latter the American Series Whites. They would sell more that way. I dont think Fendt is going anywhere. I would rather see Fendt then the Massy Brand to be Honest. Nothing againist Massy. Massy sells because they are Cheaper in Price where Fendt is the Cadillac of the Stable. I wont be surprised before it is done, if they dont have a Green Fendt 4x4 to replace the 900 series Challengers after seeing a Concept of it on the web this past week. AGCO has a History of Droping Brands that we like in the USA ,that dont or wont sell Global. It is not Right but maybe the New Ceo with Change that since he is a American who worked for the Green & yellow Brand for 20 plus yrs before coming to AGCO.
