Hey guys, just curious what everyone is using to replace the factory blower motors with. My 7050 needs a new one so I thought I'd see if everyone replaces just the motor or a whole new assembly. Is there something on the market that is a little quieter. Thanks!

There are a lot of aftermarket companies that offer the motor. AP air in Humboldt, Iowa is where I've been getting mine. You need to be a dealer though. Shoup may even offer them. The plastic blower wheels need to be handled with care as they are easily damaged. Any Agco dealer can help too. AP air might have a complete assembly available also. If you get just the motor, be sure that the motor is in the right way so it's spinning the wheels to push the maximum air. If it's in backwards, it will move a little air,but not near what it should. If it's never been replaced before, there's a piece of tin at the front that needs to be either bent or broken to get the assembly out.

I put this one in from AP air.  I have posted this before I would buy it again, very happy with it.

It is really quiet and moves a lot of air.  It is actually 2 separate fan motors made by SPAL.  The wiring was easy as each of the units had their own resistor set for the 3 speeds.  Just had to hook up wires from switch.

LB0442 did you just bolt that in the original pan that the factory one was in. I tried to search for info on here but I never have much luck with the search here. Thanks gentleman!

It comes with a new base plate that the 2 blowers are bolted to.  That plate has the holes predrilled to bolt up to the original plate from the tractor.  Pretty smooth install.
