I need some help from the experts here to see if these weights will work on my 7000 with 38" wheels.  The weights mount with 3 holes on the outer edge, but my 7000 doesn't have any holes that look to be the right spot.  I have the 6 carriage bolt holes around the wedge for the outer weights.  The inner weights have large bored holes to access the bolts when mounted, but could those holes be used to actually hold the weights onto the wheel in my case?  Or is this the wrong weight for the 3-bolt wedge cast centers?  It looks like the 7010 up and the 210 and 220 with the 2 piece wedges have centers that have the three outer holes for these inner weights.

My answer is negative.

If you had a black belly 7000/7010 the answer is yes.

This is a late black belly 1979 7000 with the HD front end, but I don't have the 3 lugs on the outer ring.  Is there a wheel center that fits the single key, 1-piece wedge assembly of the 7000 that also has the 3 lugs for the inner wheel weights?

Those look like the inner weights on my 8000 series.

Don't they mount with the 6 inner holes in the weight?  check the bolt pattern.

These Allis weights (not mine) are on craigslist here in central Iliinois, would they work for you? I hope this might help you.

The 6 holes are to access the bolt heads for outer weights, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to use them to mount on a 7000? It looks like the simple answer is no, and that I need the weights that use the 6 bolts, like the ones in the link, or similar. I’m hoping someone can say with confidence what weights swap between the 7010-8070 and the 190-200-7000-D21 style centers.

The weights in question will NOT fit a 190-190XT-200-7000 or D-21. They will only fit 7010/8010 and up with 38 inch wheels. Probably will fit 210-220.

Thanks doc for the confirmation. Will the outer doughnut weights (I believe they tend to be around 300 lbs) that bolt on using the 6 carriage bolt holes work between all the series? It seems there’s a few available around me in this style listed as being from 7010-8070s:

We had those weights (but it's been a long long time ago now) on the outside of our 7030. Unfortunately, I have no pictures.

Update: Here are a few I found so far.

I don't know the number but weights that look like that came off my D21 and went on my 7030.  Maybe they were different, just going by the looks.

Jim, thanks for the insight. I believe the outer weights fit the 7010-8070 in addition to the D19/21, 190-220, and 7000 with the 38” centers. I may have to pony up and find a set of weights to try to confirm. The only thing I can see being different is the angle of the taper in the wheel centers, but it looks the same from pictures.
