Might ask the Forum family for a few prayers for my sister, Ruth's family. She passed away this morning just three weeks after her 75th birthday. She had been battling Multiple Myloma, a blood and bone cancer, for the last couple of years. Sad, as her and I were always close. She was a good Christian and her faith was always strong. She was looking forward to going home to Jesus, so I know I'll see her again

Then last night I got a call that my good friend, Brent, and work mate for many years passed away yesterday. He had been ill for quite some time and was in a nursing home. We had many good years together in the past building cedar strip canoes together and as we were close neighbors then, our families spent a lot of time together. He was a former Pastor and a good strong Christian. I'll see him again someday too. Prayers for his family too.

Prayers for you and for family members of both of these fine people. The best thing someone can do for their loved ones is giving them assurance that they have accepted what Jesus has done for them and believed on Him. May peace and comfort surround and uplift you during this time.

Prayers are coming your way Phil for you and the entire family. I lost my sister and she was only 62 at the time. It's always hard, but knowing where they are at and smiling down on us makes it a little easier.
