It would be more interesting if the score were closer. I don't have a dog in the fight either, I switched over to watch something else after the score got out of hand.

When Clemson has Lawrence they can beat anyone.
Maybe not this years Bama but anyone else.
As bad as it pains me to say it , A&M is a very solid team and deserves the no 3 spot .

Also have to give Florida a lot of credit. They gave number 1 a serious game.
They had a lot of ups and downs this year but they showed promise yesterday.

Have only watched a few KC games this year, ONLY team I wish to see.  Mizzou Tigers CoMo Team is a loss for comments this time around.

I read they moved the Rose Bowl.  I'm guessing out of CA due to their restrictions.  Then I heard there may not be any bowl games.

And luck of the Irish it is. They just got their butts beat bad by a multiple loss team and made the playoffs while A&M fresh off an all sec 7 game winning streak didn’t make it in.😖

IRISH draw a crowd.... Like  UCLA in basketball.... they could have a 50- 50 record and STILL get invited to the finals.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I see your point Steve, it's just that they are so local, ALL of the local news channels rant/rave about wins for DAYS after a win even though the "win" might be against a class 5A HS team, yet  when they lose, the "adopt-a-pet" segment gets more air time LMAO !!!
Yes, $$$ talks, I forget how many more years ND has the NBC contract for the home games. Thanks for the reply.

Notre Dame’s media revenue is structured a bit differently because they’re independent. Their current deal with  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/9186897/nbc-extends-notre-dame-fighting-irish-football-deal-2025" rel="nofollow - NBC is only worth $15 million annually.  That’s for seven home games a season. The Irish also get a portion of the ACC’s money.  https://slapthesign.com/2019/12/10/acc-deal-beneficial-notre-dame-19/" rel="nofollow - That portion is only $5.8 million.  Notre Dame makes just under $21 million annually from its media deal.

As far as Notre Dame’s deal with  https://www.athleticbusiness.com/more-news/notre-dame-under-armour-deal-richest-in-college-history.html" rel="nofollow - Under Armour goes, they get $90 million over 10 seasons.

Unlike Michigan, Notre Dame is a private institution. This makes it significantly harder to find any other specifics on the program’s revenue. However, Forbes ranks Notre Dame as the  https://www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/2018/09/11/college-footballs-most-valuable-teams/#204098866c64" rel="nofollow - 7th most valuable program in the country , with $112 million in annual revenue.

Just ahead of Notre Dame were:

  1. Texas A&M
  2. Texas
  3. Michigan
  4. Alabama
  5. Ohio State
  6. Oklahoma

Rumor has it that the college football playoffs are being funded by the Vatican.

The bowl game setup is a joke.  GOOD teams don't make it while mediocre teams get in.  Go figure....just another reason why I don't watch anymore.  $$$$$$ has ruined so much of what we used to love.

This is why I'm pretty sure it will be a "REAPEAT" of the ND/Alabama fiasco years ago SmileCry !!
