I'm in need of a Firestone 18.4R34 Radial 23* R-1 rear tractor tire, P/N 354740. Firestone no longer makes this tire. I have one and need a mate. My local Firestone dealer told me that his Distributor shows a Dealer in NE with one. My understanding is the Dist. would buy it from that Dealer and then sell it to my Dealer who would then sell it to me. You can just see the $$$ adding up. My preference would be to buy it from the NE Dealer and have it shipped to me. Hoping some of you NE guys could either check with your local Firestone dealers or pass their contact info to me so I can. The P/N 354740 is CRITICAL as they do make a cheaper version now, but with a different P/N. Any help is appreciated.

So far, I've contacted these Ag Tire Dealers in NE with no luck;
  Nebraska Tire, Dawson, Pomp's, T.O. Hass, Nebraska Land and Barret

Try your next tire. They have a huge warehouse in Lincoln and travel a huge area thru the state and neighboring states as a distributor.  They have a store in Cortland Ne which I go there to get tires mounted.  Wish it was closer for me to drive to.  I'd be suprised if they didn't know where to get one or maybe they go them.    https://www.yournexttire.com/ " rel="nofollow - https://www.yournexttire.com/  ;  1-888-513-8473

These guys are huge also and are at the farm shows around here.  My local tire guy gets most of his tractor tires from this place or your next tire.

Should have put all this in 1 post, but different names coming to mind. Since you are calling around, if no luck try   https://www.google.com/search?q=Bills%20tire%20columbus%20ne&cad=h#" rel="nofollow - (402) 564-6369  Bill's tire in Columbus, Ne. They are firestone dealers and very knowledgeable. Ask for Bill or Bob which are the owners of the place and usually one of them is there. https://www.billstireoutlet.com/

Jim I was in the same predicament a few years ago. I called every place I could. I asked the guy at Nebraska tire if you needed one where would you call. He told me Tucker's Tire Company in TN. So I called them. He looked it up and asked how many do you want. I said one, good he said that's all we have. This tire was a Goodyear Dyna Torque long bar, short bar, they hadn't been made for several years.  Tim
