After wheat came off this past summer I planted a warm season cover crop of sorghum sudan grass, radish and soybeans. I let the ssg grow 3-4' tall and then mowed it down to around 12-14". My intention was to have my two 172's out in the 50 acre field doing the mowing, but the 172 I was redoing didn't get done in time, so everything got mowed with the back-up mower I bought from Richard Aiken for this job. It did a nice job and I really enjoyed running the WD45. Some tile went in shortly after the cc was planted. Then late summer/early fall I planted a cc of winter oats and two clovers. I'll no-till corn in next spring good Lord willing. |

Solid looking 172 and nice straight wd45.Most guys these days would feel lucky to find one of those 172s let alone having two of them..lol..awesome..
