Sorry because I don't read here everyday so I'm sure I missed, but I don't see Gerald G I believe was his name always put a link up for anyone looking for a service manual.  He knew alot about electrical issues, had a farm he rented out and was happy how his tennet took care of things.  Just wondering.

Dan,
Yea lots of folks. Maybe have moved on or passed on? Things change just like this forum. I am a newbie compared to lots of familiar names. Lots of good AC and life info gone too.
Regards,
Chris

Yes the name change of who does post and the participation in discussion changes as time moves on .
I was just going through some old photos and came across one of Brian Reese and his daughter - from Down Under - seems his e-mail is a dead end and I lost his daughters address to find out what happened to him .
Now i guess also i have cut down on posts here also from a few years back or from 20 years ago - things change in our lives , in our jobs, and in the time we have to share .
Remember on the form when they had a listings of posts per month of how often one did post , but since i first found the site many parts have changed in the look and in the posts .

There were a few guys that refused to come over from the old forum. Darin kept the old forum running for awhile, used to check in on it from time to time, those few were still there. Don’t know whatever happened to them.

The Facebook AC groups have drawn people away I am sure...I am not here as often because of those groups. BUT this is still the best resource for AC stuff and help.

Easier to post photos for one . Younger crowd drawn towards Facebook. More knowledge on here . They ask questions over there and a lot of times the answer is to come on here and someone will have the right answer. Surprised Darin hasn't started an Unofficial A/C Facebook group already

That's a good idee Pat.  BUT, I don't go on FB very often because of the censorship.  Yes, it is easier to post pics on FB than on here, but Darin could change that too if he'd take a mind to.  There are a LOT of guys that haven't been on in a while and like Coke says, things change in our lives, hobbies and just time on here vs home life.  I've been spending more time with family lately because of the covid and because we have been separated for so long.  I'd rather SEE you guys than post, but what with the times...... It's hard.
