| So since my farm is slipping more into the hobby farm category, and I have been working off the farm for about two and a half years now, my "tractor time" has diminished to an alarming low lever. So, a brake project that I started on my one ninety gasser over two years ago, kind of went by the wayside due to the fact that it's not "priority". For two years, I was going to get after it again next weekend, which never came. LOL. Well, now I am on a covid vacation, and scrambling to do a lot of projects that "just plain need doing!" The gasser being one of them. So, yesterday I decided to move it up by the shop, and get ready to work on it. Taking in mind, it hadn't been stared in two years, I pulled the pickup up beside it thinking it was going to need a jump. After checking it's life fluids, I decided, what the hell, try it without the jumpers and see what happens. Was mildly impressed when the oil pressure lit up when I turned the key on. Hit the starter, and it spun over like it had been run that morning. Gave er a little throttle and pulled out the choke, and she took off! Not sure what it has in it for batteries, but They are my new favorite brand! I generally don't condone leaving a tractor neglected like that, and I am slightly ashamed of myself for it, but I'll try to do better! Darrel |

and the gas was still usable !!!

It's also 40 less than I used to have on the farm. And during busy season at work, it's 60 hours a week, lose half hour for lunch, hour and half on the road...... |
