AGCO dealer has them available. I don't remember the price, but it was reasonable. F bars are the same size material, but longer for the wider cylinder.

Channel concaves are cheap enough at AGCO. there used to be some available aftermarket. Time you fiddle with drilling holes in the right places to "make your own" you'd be ahead to buy em.

Ok. Thanks I was thinking of getting f concave bars from agri kits.com they are in New York and can have them in 3 days . Of course I would have to cut them down. I will call albert at zeiglers tomorrow to see how quick he can get them.

Thanks.

Are the concave bar bolts proprietary to Agco, or is there another outlet for the square headed bolts ? Seems like the heads are "offset" to the center of the bolt??

Weld nuts to concave, then screw regular bolts in from bottom.         MACK

McMaster-Carr has square head bolts, grades 2, 5 and 8.

If a person does this, they would want to make sure not to use too long a bolt, or it would hit the cylinder bars.

Thanks for the update, can/will you verify if the square headed bolts are "off set" to the bolt?  It's been several years since I messed with them, but seems like they were "odd" Wink

Ones I had were normal. Offset was hole in bar to make head unable to turn.

Squared head bolts are normal. Holes in concave bars are offset so heads don't turn when you tighten up nut.

Thanks cory

Thanks for the reply, I knew that there was something off center Wink. How many bars are you putting in ??

Holes are offset to be installed to keep the front edge from peeling away from the floor.

Thanks Doc, we always thought it was for the squared heads to "seat" on . Does it matter if the holes are fore ward or rearward ?

Holes forward  so material don't start under concave.             MACK
