A week ago Thursday I snuck down to Carlsbad, NM to pick up a skid steer loader I'd bought at an online auction.  Came back the next day.  Figured if I got in touch with DJ or Michael I'd get put to work, plus I had to get my hay cut before the "pretty" hit me.  When I arrived in Carlsbad at 10:30 pm, it was still 71 degrees, next morning was in the 40's but not bad.  Got gas in Aliantown, (Roswell) for $1.76 gal. both ways.  Noticed at Artesia, where the oil refinery is, gas was $1.96!  Shameless, didn't see any snakes but lots of miles and miles of miles and miles.  Kind of neat to see pecan tree orchards/groves kind of in the middle of nowhere.  Also a couple of cotton fields, wonder how they did with the 20 degrees a few days later?

That's what I like to see; snow in places other than mine! Keep the southern coordinates locked in on that machine, Mr Shameles! Wonder which Darrel is being blamed for the wind....? Could be me, as we have so much wind here in ND, that I don't mind sharing it. Within a 100 mile radius of me, there must be 1,000 wind towers now, Darrel

It looks like rain/snow mix coming down right now.  I don't care how much we get, I don't need to go anywhere.
