I was looking through the A-C WD 62 and 63 mounted plow manual and came across this logo for bullet blades, plow shares. I don't recall ever hearing a name for Allis plow shares.  ------------- Dean(IA) |

I have some new ones that say Bullet Blade right on them and I remember them advertising them. ------------- 1945 C, 1949 WF and WD, 1981 185, 1982 8030, unknown D14(nonrunner) |

We had a new plow behind the D14 that had them, a thin blade. Later went to the Rock blade, more metal, stopped the curl down when plowing packed or really dry conditions. These had a point similar to the resharpen shares and would last longer also. The curled points could be easily straightened on an anvil, no heat. ------------- |
