Just like the title says, hoping someone can let me know how much the PTO assembly weighs.  I found a really nice PTO delete cover plate and want to remove the PTO.  Thanks.

I have a loose unit without the belt pulley and hydraulic pump.  Weighs 45 lbs. on the trusty bathroom scale.

Wondering if it's a one man job?  It is.

Thanks Ben.  That's the info I needed.  I still have a strong back, just want to keep it that way.  Wink

I have removed and replaced several. Most with a auto floor jack as a helper. Easier with the drawbar off.

Thanks!  Looking at it I wasn't sure if I needed a floor jack or engine hoist.  The PTO is a pretty stout casting.  It looked really heavy.

Back in the day we mounted them without the aid of a floor jack.  Was a matter of coordination.  Course those days are well behind me.
By the way checking Pop's price book they list the B-C PTO as 66 pounds.
No wonder it was a hard lift.
Good Luck!
