My grandfather and I purchased a D19 last year at an auction and it's been sitting under my carport ever since. We ended up having to reweld a spot on each frame rail that had cracked at some point with a previous owner.

Earlier this week I drove the D19 out to the farm from my house, about 5.5 miles.

Last checks before getting on the road

On the road, cruising without any issues.

Finally got this orange beast under cover until the time comes for her to get to work.

Couple more pictures located over at my website.

I recently stepped back from my professional career of software development to start helping my grandfather on his farm and rental properties. He's been dealing with kidney cancer and I've decided it's time to get out there and taking more responsibility.

I plan on documenting my journeys with him as I learn from him on my blog https://wordsaredope.com" rel="nofollow - https://wordsaredope.com

Hopefully document some good memories of the man that raised me.

We have a D15 Series 2 that is a pleasure to drive, even though the power director is stuck in high.
