Can someone explain the significance of this grocery chain ?? There's  one coming to South Bend and the media/citizens are going "bonkers" about it OuchOuch. Are they better than a Kroger or Spartan type store ??

We have one in Omaha.  I have done maintenance work in the building for them.  They are very snooty and stuck up.  I feel so out of place there that I dont go there to shop!

Is Trader Joe’s similar to Whole (paycheck) Foods?

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Got one close to HF but I have never been in it. Seems to cater to the tree hugger crowd and their prices are higher than elsewhere.

Whole Foods Lite, they are not exclusively organic. Every so often they have some bargains, like the 2 Buck Chuck wine if that is your thing.

Probably never find one on the poor side of town.

That two buck chuck should be right up there on the wine list with Wild Eye.

I been in one twice. They wanted the old gal to make soap for them to sell. After visiting them. We did not feel like it was a good fit for us. Went back for some type of organic veggies for my younger sister. They didn't have them. Been years ago.
