I used Permatex gas tank repair. Comes as a little sausage, just cut off how much you may need and the knead it together, as the hardener is in the center, then apply on a clean surface. I found it to be excellent, I fixed close to half a dozen pin holes on my "B" tank and it has been perfect for several years.

D-10 and D-12 ranks are very hard to find. A while back PaulB was looking for one for his puller. As far as I know, hew hasn't found one yet.

I cleaned, lined and sealed a WD45 tank several year ago and had good luck. I think the secret is following the directions to the "T" and not taking any shortcuts.

If you do find a tank, Paul might be interested in your old tank.

It's been several years and I'm not sure if they have changed, but I used this one from Eastwood.

I have repaired several automotive tanks with jb weld. Works well. Sand and paint next day. Have not had one leak yet.
