About to finally put this thing to use, but the lighting concerns me as far as getting it on the road, I fee lkj pretty confident with the headlights I added tonight, the stock headlights pretty much just light up the side of the tractor, so at least I'm pretty visable on the sides and front, I have the stock taillight on the left fender, I have another stock taillight on a parts tractor to mount on the right fender, and a smv sign, but I think the rear needs to be a LOT more visable, any ideas? Or pictures of what you guys have come up with? This is honestly a huge thing for me, my gma was killed 3 years ago because the vehicle she was in hit a poorly lit tractor, so for my safety and everyone else on the road, I want this thing to be impossible to not see ------------- I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 |

Thought about adding rock lights, would light the road underneath me and make my profile stick out, and make it easier to see underneath while in the field to avoid obstacles, look cool as hell too ------------- I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 |

Why not put a let of "Lolipops" on the rear of the Tractor wired to a flasher? A couple 90 degree brackets off the back of the Tractor with the Lolipop Warning lights mounted to them will give anyone coming up behind you a heads up way before they get to you. The Lolipops I'm referring to are made by a few different mfr's like Grote, Signal Stat, Trucklite etc. The lens on one side is Amber and on the other side Red. Wire a flasher to em' so they flash, and yer' good ta' go! Safety first! We sell em', but you can find them in most Auto Parts stores or Tractor supply houses.... I will definitely look into them, thank you, I know the lights your referring to, where might I get a flasher? Or just wire it into a turn signal relay? ------------- I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 |

Thanks guys I will sure look into both suggestions, I'll have to look into the DOT regulations for the legal mounting locations ------------- I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 |

Strobe is a good idea. I was thinking a set of magnetic tow tow lights. I use them on wagons. On the 7040, the P.O. wired in flasher unit to a pigtail for tail and hazard lights |
