a little surface rust, but i dont see any HOLES thru the body or floor... Definitely NOT A ILLINOIS TRUCK !!

There are no factory 4 x 4 GM pickups until 1960. They were all dealer installed NAPCO conversions. I think in 1959 a few Napco's were installed at the factory. Back then it was advertised that a NAPCO could be moved from your trade in to your new truck by the dealer in about 4 hours. Things were simple back then. In 1960 with independent front suspension 4 x 4 's became a factory item.

apparently this is the second auction this truck has been on in a 2 week period. a local dude here bought a wheatland Farmall on an auction out there in MT about 2 weeks before this auction, and he said that truck was on the auction he bought his tractor on. now it was on this auction. i wonder how much it brought on the first auction? he didn't know.
