Even if the two bolts are missing, that's a nice looking diesel. Are you driving it home?

Thanks for the comments guys. I had been looking for a nice 45 Diesel for a while. Not many came to Australia. Would like to drive it home but will have to settle for driving it off the truck here. Any leads on history of this tractor would be appreciated.

Sorry, I have to ask, maybe I missed it? Where is the town where the auction was held? Polk is maybe a common town name. We have a Polk about 40 miles from where I live in North western PA But I bet there are dozens of Polk towns across the country?Knowing the location Might help us? Regards, Chris

I checked some pics from the Nesbitt sale in Renfrew, Canada in 2017. It is not that one or does not appear to be. Different tires and had several more stickers on it. I thought maybe it had worked its way south.

There were a few others AC's at the sale. Most were green though. Here is the link https://www.proxibid.com/Polk-Auction-Company/37th-Annual-Labor-Day-Weekend-Auction-Day-3/event-catalog/174599" rel="nofollow - https://www.proxibid.com/Polk-Auction-Company/37th-Annual-Labor-Day-Weekend-Auction-Day-3/event-catalog/174599
I did some searching and found a photo of what looks like the WD45 Diesel I bought might have come from Wilkes Classic Tractors in South central WI.

NICE tractor!!!!! Bought 1 of those AC130 riding lawn mowers through 1 of Polk's auctions back in 2018. That place is huge. Felt like an ant pulling in there with my S10 and utility trailer to pick up my little tractor-LOL.

I believe you are correct - I saw that one for sale at Wilke’s earlier this year - perhaps they can provide you with some info.

Good deal at $8500. The one at Nesbit sale sold for about $17,500 Cdn dollars. Stuff has come down in last couple years.

I think it was a pretty fair deal for such a nice tractor. We have also seen a drop off in vintage tractor prices here in Australia. I went to an IH collectors sale last November for a look and nice restored tractors were selling about half what they would have 3-5 years ago. Hard to pin point exact reason, we have had droughts here which means us farmers have less spare money to spend on hobbies. There are less younger people interested due to limited connection to these machines. Also with cost of living so high here many young people don't have surplus money to buy into vintage tractors as all their money is going into paying a mortgage for high priced real estate.
