Phil, what is it supposed to do in Alberta?
Here on the east side of the mountains of Colorado we are expecting a high of 40 and low of 28 on Tuesday. Guess I won't be selling many peaches at the Tuesday Farmers Market! Oh, and it's supposed to be near 100 on Sunday!

Gee one extreme or the other weather guessers. The local yokel says extreme heat all up and down the left coast until Monday. He is salivating over the fact we could set a new all time high by being 115. I would of said that we should have a higher all time than that but what do I know about government kept records.
Which ever side of normal your on this holiday weekend be careful out there.

JohnColo, the weather guessers are sayin' snow in the foothills and mountain areas to the southwest of me on Sunday. Maybe Calgary will even get a little. Then supposed to warm up to about 20c (70f) by Tuesday, so it will all melt again. Don't need it here as harvesting is just getting underway.

Not so common with more humidity, but here 40 degrees from low to high during the day is common in the fall. Generally get a few days with a 50 degree swing from low to high.

Ray, I see it got up to 115 at San Louis Obispo, over 121 in the LA area. Only hit 101 here today, 105 yesterday. They are still saying our high on Tuesday will be in the mid 30s and under 30 Wednesday morning. Not good for my pumpkin and squash crop!

We’re calling for low to mid 70’s here and a low one night down near low 50’s. Now it’s changed and back up in 90’s for all week. I was in south East Colorado Friday and Sat**day. Over 100 but the coolest 100 I ever felt. Felt like mid 80’s here.

36 degrees here right now, no snow yet but half an inch of rain overnight. Snow in the mountains and it is helping control the huge fires west of me.

There are little gray things falling out of the shy here as well. But at 60+ degrees I don't think it can be "pretty" snow. Probably dust from the Devil himself.
Pray for fire fighters all over. But add a little more for the ones in the west today. The smoke is a little higher than a few weeks ago,but must be thicker up high. Just very dull and gray.

It snowed about 4" here, over a foot in the mountains 12 miles west of me. Got right at 1" of moisture out of the storm. Got down to 33 last night, 42 now at 8:15 pm, hoping it doesn't freeze tonight cause the next couple weeks look normal, 70's-80's and lows in the 50's. I posted a copy of an email I got from Mel on the Construction page, sounds like they are keeping busy with fires in his area.
