Where my brother works they have a 5050 and the oil plug fell out and they ran it a little too long with no oil LOL. Can you still get rebuild parts?? Im at work now and dont have my books at easy reach but if I remember they were Fiat built correct???

Keep your eye open for an Oliver 1365 too ,they are the 4 cylinder version of the 5050. I have a 2WD and a 4WD 1365 really good Utility tractors.

Yes they are Fiat built. I have 2 two 5050's, and parts are easy to come by from multiple sources. I believe that Yesterdays Tractors and All States Ag even carries some parts for them. They are a dry sleeve engine, but the sleeves can be bored .5mm (.020") if you need to refresh them. I purchased some engine parts from Agkits.com a few years ago. ------------- D15D, D17G, 170G, 175D, and two 5050FWA |

When we reworked the 1365 motor the new sleeves came as unfinished,once installed they have to be bored.
