My CA is a 1952 according to the serial number, the serial number on the motor I thought should start with CE, mine does not, that number is CR 47015CA. I'm guessing it's been re powered. I can find manufacturing dates on CE engines but nothing on CR engines other than they were auxiliary power units. Any ideas?

From the replacement parts book.......... look at the B-C piston spec... It would appear the comparison between the CE and CR serial number is about 106,600 motors ??

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

that might not be the case 10 years earlier. but in your case, your CR number is only 200 motors from the listed serial number.

I see mine is real close to that cutoff number. I guess it doesn't matter it runs like a top,I figured it had been re powered & was curious as to when my motor may have been manufactured. I certainly appreciate you taking the time to look, I couldn't find anything other than the most common application for them
