I belive it a 1947 Allis Chalmers W Speed Patrol? How rare are theses? Was it a factory option to have the hdrylic lift? any information on it would be great

They're not real, real rare, there some of em' out there. That one looks to be in great shape. Montana weather takes care of antique equipment and Automobiles that's fir' sure! I would think that hydraulic lift was an option unless someone years ago did the hydraulics on it. If they did, it looks like they did a nice job. Good luck with it. Hyd. was not a option,they only came with hand lift wheels .People put the hyd. on them over the years .

Sadly I do not own it. It is for sale about an hour south of me. I am just looking for information around on them. Does anyone know what one is worth. It is fully functional. Anyone ever use one to plow snow?

If someone put hydralic on it they done a nice job it don't look all cobbled up

Almost Any grader style machine with chains will be a snow plowing beast, might have to add a secondary blade at the front to maintain steering but main blade keeps from fouling drive tires.

A grader is no good for plowing snow other than cleaning off the driveway. No way to pile the snow up unless you put a front blade on it at least in MN where we get big snow banks. Might work in southern states. They do excel in maintaining a gravel driveway.
