Since we haven't had much of anything for tractor shows this year even our beloved orange spectacular I decided to switch teams at east for the weekend. I will say the IH guys and Clubs that put on this show are extremely nice and very warm the sick of demos and field work is a tad odd but the show as a whole is pretty awesome stuff from al over showed up . One guy drove his fifties binder pickup from Mississippi to south dakota took him seven days lol now that's dedicated.

Great reporting,,WDMan,,,and thanks for all the great pics,,everybody likes pics especially when most of the shows have been cancelled or postponed for this year,,ClapClap
This kinda goes along with something I suggested to the local High School Football support internet group since our football season is still in limbo. I suggested a "maybe" that they visit with the local radio station that has for some time have been televising all the football games for the Shut-ins and those that had to work. I suggested that they play back, on Friday nights,  the past playoff and State Championship games,,,Clap Everybody thought that was a great idea and are gonna follow up with the Radio station folks.
Maybe y'all that have pics from previous A/C shows can do the same,,,???? I know I would enjoy them,,,,,ClapClap

Thank you for the wonderful pictures. You just have to appreciate all colors of tractors, even if they aren't AC. Of course orange is best. Thanks.

I know it may sound like sacrilege, but I do have an affinity for the 66 series IH tractors.  My farming buddy's dad had them in the late 70's and I spent a lot of time on an 806, 1066 and 1466.  The 1066 had a Cozy cab and the 1466 had a Year-a-Round cab.  Very noisy!

Was raised on AC and always worked for IH farmers, even when I helped my brother he had IH

I attended 1 of those many years ago when they had it at Waukee Iowa. It was worth the $2.00 admission. I did go see the Farmall Land exhibit a month or so ago. Definatly worth the $10.00 cash admission.

there is a dude in my hometown that collects red wheatland tractors, i haven't seen them yet, he has invited me out to see them, also he still uses some of them for farming. most all have been refurbished. he did roll one last year while disking, dunno how steep of a hill he was doing, but it musta been. had his dog on the tractor with him, they both got off unhurt. now he has to rebuild that one.

I used to go to the antique tractor show at Portland IN.
One year the Red tractors were the featured tractor.
I saw some guys running around trying to get an accurate count of Red exhibits. J.D. was featured the year before and there was about the same number of  Red that year and they were trying to bet the Green. I heard later that the Red did beet the Green by just a very few.
A year or two latter Portland hosted the GOTO which had a lot more exhibits than either the Green or Red.
