I traded for a 7700 I'm giving it a going over and fixing things Looks as if the injector pump may have been off at some point. Whether it was rebuilt or not I have no clue. I noticed there are a couple set "screws" that have safety wire holes but no wire. I'm wondering what is going on there. Are they adjusted the way they should be and just not wired, or did somebody jack around with them. Does anybody know what those screws adjust? What part of the pump is that and what does it control?  thanks ------------- HD3 |

those are hi and low idle speeds. Why are you even worried about them? Remember those pumps have their own oil sump. ------------- 210 "too hot to farm" puller, part of the "insane pumpkin posse". the full load fuel setting is under that cap on the top of the pump in front of the fuel delivery connections. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Yes I changed the oil but thanks for the heads up as some don't know about that. The top bolt is not touching. I was wondering if that was normal? Should I screw it down so it does? I haven't watched it with the engine running to know if it moves, it does not by hand. thanks for responding ------------- HD3 |

Move the throttle to full high speed and the top bolt will touch and the bottom one will not be touching. Those are the speed adjustments. as I mentioned the fuel setting is under the wire sealed cap, so the pump setting are most likely correct. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
