things we have replaced /rebuilt:
Rebuilt carb, New points, condensor, cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, set the valves, and sprayed ether around manifolds. Only thing I haven't done was to check compression or actually time it with a timing light. I did hook up a timing light to the plug wires and it was randomly cutting out. I dont know where to go from there.

Thanks

Set your timing with a timing light FIRST.

Is this a 12V or 6V system? When you try to choke does it run better or worse?

Where did you get the new condenser? About 90% of them are junk right out of the box.
I won't waste my time putting an off the shelf condenser in anymore. Go to NAPA and ask for Blue Streak ignition parts, or switch to a Pertronix electronic ignition.

Yep replaced coil. Actually put a 2nd set of points and condensor on with no change. If ya choke it get worse. If ya pull plugs out they are not wet, just black and sooty.

These are hard because were not there but even on our own tractors trouble shooting problems may not be easy.
I have this gut feel that you may have a carb/ fuel problem/ Just a hunch. Do you have another good running carb to change?
The black plugs may be a indication of fuel issues?

 Chris

Does it have an inline resistor? Customer had an Farmall H that was running rough and came down to that resistor being bad.
