Were all D17s positive ground or did  they change on the late ones?

All were positive ground. Changed with 100 series.        MACk

Accept for the D21. That was always negative ground. I wonder why Allis didn't switch all models to neg ground when the D21 was introduced?

ANY Allis with a generator was positive ground !!     D-21 was an alternator.
