Just realized that I won't be driving east later this week. I hope you all can make it through Orange Spectacular withdrawal.

Have fun everyone. I get to put on my plumber hat and fix a leak at the elbow coming out of the bladder tank. I wonder if that rubber stuff would work and where a person could buy it.

Brought the kids to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. I've been promising them a trip all summer and since school starts back week after next it's either now or never and never = the dog house X3.

We turn the water off for the winter while we are not home. This spring a few weeks after the water had been turned back on, the bladder tank starter weeping where a galvanized street el is screwed into it. Hard copper pipe is then screwed into the street ell. Galvanized and copper should not be used together. So I bought a brass street ell and have been waiting for the right time to replace the galvanized one, now it has stopped leaking. So what do I do?

Not going anywhere, gonna do a little more towards projects, just not gaining any ground.
Moved 180 today and alternator quit charging. had to mow and get the little mower out so got done with that and put it back in the shop, early tomorrow will see whats up, likely a regulator or brush pack. That fixed then the 7G comes BACK up to the house.

Grand sons are coming out again this weekend to finish building another go kart. That will make three of them to terrorize the farm with. They have made themselves a track about a half mile long with some tight turns and some long straights. They put a lot of miles on those karts.

The track they run and the old rail line is so rough, you would have to clamp the can in the holder!! I grade it fairly often, but the cows like to walk down there and rough it up again. Grandson got a surprise last weekend when he ran through an old cowpie in the dark and found it still had a soft center!! LOL. Came back to the bunkhouse to change and clean up!
We fitted old valve springs to the kingpins above the spindles to give a little better ride on the front end. Big fat tires on the back give some cushioning there.

I spent ALL day Friday cutting grass for the neighbors "Wacker Party" on Sat**day. They use my pool and drink all day and eat and have fun. e.g. beer/shots pong, slip & slide, etc. but this year it was just mostly in the pool. It was HOT!! It's been like that for a lot of the last few Hutch Orange Spectaculars. WHEW..... Yesterday was our Anniversary and I made her Filet Mignon and Shrimp Scampi. She STILL loves me..... It was supposed to rain on Sunday, but never a drop. All in all, a boring weekend.... Let's skip forward to next year.
