Got my 1952 D grader running, Switched over to 12 volt, But kept the generator. Engine runs like a top, really happy with it, But, Went back in the river bottoms to play around grading the old dirt and gravel road. Road was really hard, Was headed out to the farm but lowered the blade 1 last time. everything going good when all at once it acted like it jumped out of gear. Pushed in on the clutch and it would NOT move in any gear, forward or in reverse, Raised the plow, pulled back to the barn with my pickup, I haven't looked at it yet, but I know nothing about these graders, Any Ideas would be appreciated, Probably look at it next week.

Couple possibilities, first off does it attempt to grind going into any gear?  If not then would almost suspect lost the center hub in clutch, rivets do fail over time, splines can shear.  Could also have sheared input shaft or the output gear on the trans.

Only way to know for certain pull the engine and inspect the clutch.
