I DON'T OWN IT! Anyhow, does anyone know what the carb has the coolant valve thing hooked to it on the left side of the carb for? Just curious... Ben

Inject water after it is warmed up, don't really know anything but remember the neighbor doing that. ------------- 1945 C, 1949 WF and WD, 1981 185, 1982 8030, unknown D14(nonrunner) |

When running on kerosene it would allow water to in to stop detonation. You wouldn't want to open that valve if running Anti-Freeze ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

 I am sure glad you started out with the disclaimer. Who knows what might happen to this whole place O'L never say a nice thing about a Deere goes to cranking the dang old machine in summer time.Well back to helping anybody fool

Thanks! I thought that it looked like it injected it into the carb but i'd never heard that. It makes sense though, I hadn't thought of when running on Kerosene... This one is connected to a rod that went back into the transmission/crankcase area... it wouldn't open up on itself, would it?
