Got a great price on Good Year Wranglers at Sam's Club. 245 75 16 load range E. Problem is Sam's and Walmart no longer mounts and balances what they sell.  Virus scare closes shops. No telling when the bay doors will reopen.
I should have them Tuesday at the latest for pickup.  Need them mounted to pass a overdue Texas State  inspection sticker.
Looking now to get them mounted and balanced .  Sam's knocked off $80 to use for mounting and balance.
Asked why the virus closed shops. Reply was, my car or truck may be carrying the bug. Pretty far fetched in my thinking. What about you?

Not really, but it IS a way to layoff employees to save money...
What I've read/heard cv19 dies after 2-3 days when on paper/cloth. Higher temps kills it quicker.Regular dish soap kills it in 20 seconds.......
sigh...

here's a better one...
haircutters are opn BUT you have to wear a mask. when asked HOW are you going to cut my beard, 'oh we don't do them anymore'....

here's an even BETTER one...
My lawyer billed me $250 Cauncks cause his 'gal friday' might spend a little longer in the bank depositing MY certified cheque !!

Mount em yourself and get them balanced later. I do all my own tire work. L&G, cars, P/U, TT and farm tractors. Why pay someone else for what I can do?

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I went to hf and got one of their manual tire changers. It has paid for itself many times. Plus I do not have to wait to get a tire changed.

Just saw a coupon in the weekly flyer for auto disinfecting, $39.99. I wonder if you get a kiss and a hug with that. LOL Wink

Ken,
Some of the Walmarts in more rural locations have re-opened their shops due to it being deemed "essential" (and since they've ran everyone else out of business!)  Might be worth making a phone call to a store 50 or 75 miles out and see if they're open.
I kind of stumbled into knowing this......

Local mom and pop tire shop should be glad to mount them.

My Oriellys allowed me to use their code reader but would not get in my truck to hook it up.

I do my own tractor tires due to the pain of taking them off and to a shop, and I usually buy in advance as to have them when needed.  Otherwise I gladly pay to have my tires mounted.  I do enough other stuff myself.
