Small hole, legs of cotter pin sticking through. Located under the seat, bottom of transfer case.

What’s the purpose/function of this? Why do you think it would be leaking? Whats the fix process?

Likely a bad seal somewhere in the dry compartment.  The cotter pin is there to keep a drain clear of bug nests or dirt, you commonly see them in clutch compartments, to let you know when the rear crank seal is bad, on a motor. HTHWink

I believe it’s an axle seal leaking. Mine has been leaking for a while on the left side. I ordered the seal but I haven’t tackled the job yet. In the middle of hay season so I am tipping the hydraulic fluid off and making sure I don’t run it low.
