Does anyone use 7000 series tractor for spraying on 30 inch rows? If so what tire size are you using and wheel spacing. Thanks. I have a 7045 would like to spray with but I can't seem to figure out best approach if it is possible. On tractor I have 20.8 x 38 tires with non-power rims and standard / short axle 95.5. The manual says can pull wheels to 91 inches but my measurements are not adding up to that option. My wheels are in all the way to frame but I can only get 64 inches at this time. I'm thinking have to go to 18.4 wheel but do like my 20.8.

You must have 18.4 tires on power shift rear wheels to get the tires in against the cab. Even at that you cannot achieve a true 60 inch tread, but 62 to 63 inches.

Just run them in as far as possible, at 64 inches you can run between rows with those tires if they are radials run just a hair more not alot of air pressure so they are not bulging on the sides

mine are 18.4 tires on power adj wheels, they are sucked in real close to the cab on my 7010, hafta measure it, don't remember the measurement right now.

I had a customer with a 7060 with 20.8's on it. He bought a pair of 15.5x38's. After his crops were in, I would go out and remove the 20.8's and put the 15.5's on his rims. They looked funny but worked for him. In the fall, I took the 15.5's off and put his 20.8's back on. He cultivated everything on 30"rows.

We have sprayed for years with a 7060. He used to use 18.4 38inche tire. We have since switch to over to step up rims and 18.4 42. If I get over to the farm I'll take a picture and measure it 4 you.

I've got a 7060 with 20.8's for my planter tractor. With them sucked all the way in we go down the rows but it's close.

I run 18.4r38's on my 7045. I have planted beans on 18" rows for years and for that I spun out wheels a moved the axle mounts out and spread the wheels to 90". It will straddle 5 rows. This year, I planted the beans on 30" rows. Wish they were on 18" as I have a hydraulic line the blew and with the tires in close,,,,, it is tight under there.

thanks for replies. The way it is now, the tires are pressing on the rows with no room for error. I figured need power shift rims but maybe try to go with smaller tires. I don't think I can pull them out far enough for 90" spacing.

Did the rims he had on for the 20.8 work for the 15.9? I thought if went 15.9 would need a 14 inch rim but if my rims work I would consider that option.

Are you running with power rims or standard? Thanks. If standard I might try pushing them bit tighter and increase tire pressure when spraying.

I said power shift wheels are REQUIRED on 7045-50-60-80/8050-70 to be able to get the 18.4 x 38 tires against the cab. The outer axle bearing is out farther from the center of the tractor chassis and the power shift wheels are needed.

I ran my 7030 in 30 inch rows with 18.4 tires, slid in as far as I could get them, just enough clearance between cab and tires. Worked good for me.

So I stepped away from post while doing some research on options. I have a fellow taking off set of 14.9 x 46 inch tires with rims and duals from White 120 he is looking to sell. I like this option. I know this size tire has become popular. Has anyone used them on their AC and can you get close enough spacing on inner tire to work 30 inch rows. I am guessing might need a longer hub extension to get the dual out to 90 inch.

That tire size should work good. What are you going to be able to use for hubs on inner and outer tires.

I have power shift rims and my rims are the right width for the 20.8 tires I have on the tractor. If you put 15.9 tires on a wide rim, they probably wouldn't seat because the rim would be too wide for the tire. Sorry for the late reply. I dont always check the forum.

The tires are on step up rims I think they are 13 inch 38x46. The hub attachments are 3 3\8 inside diameter. I believe will fit on my 3 3\4 axle. I got to see if they are long enough since rear axle is standard length. I believe 95 inches.

The inside rims are 13 bolt can use my center dsic for them and outer have 10 bolt rims.
