Have a pretty bad engine rear main seal leak . Would this cause the clutch to be grabby ? Mostly leaks at WOT . THANKS!!

Yes it can cause it to be sticky. Also cause it to slip under a load. Best to split at engine, replace rear main seal, tranny input seal, throw out bearing, and clutch and pressure plate from Rick Corder. Then good to go! HTH Tracy

Thanks Tracy , I was wondering if the rear main seal and clutch could be done at the same time . My favorite son does have splitting stands now .

Yes!  You will have to remove the oil pan as well to position the rear seal properly.

Was wondering about the oil pan . It was off when I got this tractor . Quite the job to get the back bolts in IIRR . Might be easier to just pull the motor ? Thanks
