To DrAllis and who ever . We rebuilt our Wd45 engine - high compression and super light pistons and shaved 4ozs off governor weights , seems way to responsive wants to run away with very little throttle movement. Thoughts opinions ideas ? Thanks

Why did you shave the weight?

You haven't synch'd the gov linkage to the carb. Engine off. Throttle wide open. Diusconnect link rod from governor arm. The link rod should just slide back into the hole and I'll bet the gov arm is farther back that the link rod. Bend link rod down or bend gover arm forward. 1/8" wrong makes a HUGE difference in governor action.
