| Looking for a grill for my d10. Ot was my grandads tractor and I think he used more like a dozer than a tractor so I’m trying to find a good grill shell. Thanks |

The only thing I have here is from the D10 industrial with a Henry loader, it has the bottom cut out for the pump drive. So nothing for a restoration. D10/12 sheet metal is tough to find. I've been searching for a D10/12 gas tank that's bent up, rusted out or shot at. I can't even find crappy sheet metal. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

This is a little off topic, but I have over the years parted out several D10's. Sheet metal is the first to go. Folks need fenders, hoods and grill shells, gas tanks. I stopped parting anything out, first because it is a lot of work and I am getting older, and second parts don't sell nearly as fast as they once did. You can't buy a D10 or D12 to part out cheap, so you have an initial investment to recover before you can make anything on the tractor. An individual can not come close to getting the prices that the salvage yards like Wenger's get. In regard to your grill shell search. The shells (radiator surrounds) for all three series are the same except the series III shells do not have holes for headlights. Grill shells from all Series can with used with minor modification depending of the Series tractor you are installing it on.

The series III radiator surround is different from the earlier ones. The early ones DO have the headlight hole and DON'T have the holes for the front weight. If you can get a D-15 series 2 grille , you may have enough material, to make a D-10/12(series 3) grille out of it. I think I read somewhere, that someone sells the series 2(3) grille metal, but can't recall where.
