Im trying to find out how many hydraulic transmission filters there are on my 2 WD 8070 .
How critical is my fluid level when reading dip stick etc ?
My light started flickering , now its constantly on . I do feel a shutter in the drive when moving ..

Transmission oil is on the dipstick. Oil should be checked with the tractor on a level surface after sitting overnite is best. CHECK BOTH SIDES OF THE DIPSTICK !! As long as it is, sometimes one side of the dipstick will say full and the other may not. BOTH sides must agree.

Hyd. filters are AGCO  # 70270781 and # 70270782. Trans. filters are AGCO # 70269856 for the power shift or AGCO # 70267600 for the power director.

At what size do tractors start using hydraulic filters? I wish they had them on smaller tractors,as in my case with really dirty chunky oil(or even for that matter if you hook up any implements that have junk in there system left over it would not contaminate your entire system and possibly make your pump stop working correctly) a filter would stop it before it gets back into the pump maybe?
Thanks Matt
