A friend of ours was going through some of his Dad's stuff and found this box with a rain gauge in it. They were nice enough to give it to my wife. The dad had been a customer of my Dad over 40 years ago.

Wish I were smart enough to know how to get the picture turned the right direction. Pffft!

Here's a pic with the box it came in and the "instructions" for how to use it. If you don't know how to use a rain gauge, you shouldn't have one!

Brian looks like you got it to work.

I was gonna flip your picture for a tease but I'll tell my BIG SECRET.

Win10 - I open Snip and Sketch, outline what I want, save as .jpg to a file, close Snip & Sketch, then open the file with photos, use the rotation button at top of page, and save.

Snip & Sketch and Photos also have other editing capabilities.

Hope this helps, pretty basic.

The company that promoted that rain gauge must have done alright. That little dial thingy Wink

was the deciding factor that I have seen that same brand rain gauge before. I have no idea what product the one I saw was promoting. Confused

Now you got me wondering if it's still around somewhere.
