Anyone know where ,if such an animal exist ,to get a rebuild kit for D19 fuel pump or buy a new pump? I just picked up a rebuild kit for my D19 fuel pump at AGCO last week they are available ------------- 1-B's, 2-C, 2-CA's,2-WF, 1-WC,1-G, 3-WD's, 2-WD45, 1-RC, 1-D17 Diesel, 1-D14, 2-D15,1-D17 row crop,1-D19 gas and All Crop 40,60,66,72,90 and 100 |

Just out of curiosity, if a fuel pump isn't really needed, why did ALLIS put them on so many models of gas tractors? I'm aware of the majority of the models have their fuel tanks higher than the carbs for gravity flow, but surely there's a reason for a pump ? |

| The fuel pump is an absolute necessity for a 6 GPH steady flow of fuel in hills and low fuel levels in the tank at 100% load. Don't believe it ??? Try and plow with 2 gallons of gas in the tank and see what happens. |

Check with one of the many places that rebuild antique car fuel pumps. If the pump is screwed together most any place will rebuild it. There are a few places that rebuild the band clamped pumps. They now use rubber parts that stand up to Ethanol in the gasoline. A mechanical pump is the safer option unless you wire it in with an oil pressure switch. If something happens you don't want that electric pump to continue pumping gas. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits.
