Any of the orange Agco’s have Cummins motors and Funk transmissions? My knowledge ends at the AC 8000 series.
I know some of the White tractors have that motor tranny combo.

No, only the White's had the Cummins motor, the agco Allis had the Detroit 40 and 50 series engines, which were revamped IH 466 and 531 engines.

I have a 2004 DT225 with the C series Cummins and the Funk Powershift. Also have a 2000 AGCO-ALLIS with a DT530E Navistar in front of the Funk Powershift. Both have been good tractors.

The RT series AGCO Tractors used the 5.9 and later the 6.7 liter engines. I had an RT130 with the 5.9. I'm pretty certain when the CVT's came along so did the SISU Engines, I believe this was in 2005, please correct me if I'm wrong., Mike

I thought that Detroit Diesel had purchased the DT466 from Navistar, but after further research, I learned, that Detroit was buying the DT466 engines from Navistar, and adding their own ECM, and selling them as Detroit's. Learn something everyday.

The ECM label on our DT530E says Navistar, only thing Detroit about it is the Detroit Series 40 plaque on the valve cover. In some ways I think Navistar didn't want to deal with the OEM's so Detroit Diesel did the leg work and made a few bucks. Once their 60 series truck engine took over the market they gained back their reputation and the Navistar venture was history. At one point in the mid eighties Detroit Diesel for a short time marketed John Deere's 466 in various configurations and horse power ratings to OEM'S. Oddly enough they were also badged the 40 series engine, I have the literature piece in my file. Also many of you know that Navistar has discontinued production of the legendary DT series engines which includes the DT466, which had almost a 45 year production run. , Mike

What do they now make to replace the DT466?
Seems like I heard that JD cast the blocks for Detroit 60 engines. Anyone know if that is true?
