Would a Gleaner E engine be an easy swap with an early 170 engine? I realize they are both 226, and the governor setup would have to be switched.
Thanks!

Easy swap and will probably be 4 HP short of your old engine. The serial number on the block will have the letter "M" or "Z" on the end.   M will be short on HP and Z will match your HP.

Thank you Doctor! I assumed that might be the case when I bought the 170, but it's good to get it confirmed.
