it is a 1939 B lowered to 32" from ground to top of radiator. Chassis is flat black with black cherry metallic sheet metal. Front wheels are 18" 1932 Ford wires. Headlights are motorcycle drive lights. Still working on the operator station and taillights. Would like to find spokes for the rear, but maybe later.

I wonder if you swapped the B stub axle shafts with ones from a CA tractor, that would give you a 6 bolt pattern on rear axles. Will spoke wheels from a WC bolt up?

Nice touch right? I’m really partial to this color because I had a Gretsch Duo Jet of the same flavor.

Iron Horse is the name of my business, so that is why I used that. Right now, I am about as far as I can go for now, except the fenders when I get them back to the shop. I have had to work on this between projects or while waiting for parts. Hopefully, Mark will land the UC generator and brackets I am searching for and I can get back on that project.

Steve, I retired a couple of years ago with the idea of doing a few tractor restorations a year and writing one book a year. A year ago I terminated my publishing contract with my old publisher which instantly took ten of my novels out of print. I have been working to edit, reformat, typeset, and on some design new covers and get them in print. Gotten 5 done so far. And the shop has gone crazy, I did 38 restorations last year and am booked a year in advance.  All of that after promising my wife I was going to slow down after a heart-attack three years ago. The doctor told me on my last visit that I have to stop. My response was "and do what?"

Steve,
Wow! My wife just told me I should write a book. I think it would be pretty boring!:)
You are busy.

Chris

Steve ma' man! Keep rollin' with it brother!! You're keeping yourself healthy lovin' what  your doing. A happy heart is a healthy heart just remember that! I'm retiring this year from the power co. and my plans are to get in the barn and have fun and finish up with all my projects, and to get out with the wife and do a little travelin' to.  I even have a few customer Streetrods to wire coming up soon. Its great to hear you're still on the roll!  God bless ya man!
