Shutters probably.  As cheap as new temp gauges are, I can't see putting much time into one.

Yes Lon, I rebuilt a set of shutters for my C a few years ago.  Hardest part was getting them loose and finding new springs.

I have some shutters that are worn. They need rivets and couple other worn parts replaced. Thinking of fixing myself but if someone has invented that wheel I would like to know about it. Thanks Ted for your reply.

The original temperature gauge is different then the replacement. I can spot the difference from 10 feet away. Just wondering if anyone has rebuilt the original gauge.
