Hi everyone
Have a shaft here. Measures about 15-1/2" long X about 1" diameter and the splines on one end are about 2" long. On a tag is written D-15 loader and I think TS-500. Think it's a front hyd pump shaft
Thanks

Not sure but it might be for a front mounted pump.

Could be AC could be from another tractor brand.  If it does the job, that's what counts!  I have one around here, somewhere, offa ford tractor, that also fits an AC pump mount, IIRRWink

Ok. If it's a AC part I want to label it and make a card for it to locate it in the future.
Thanks

I don't know if it is, but on the D14 steering column there is one shaft for manual steering and a different shaft for power steering.  It's the final shaft that goes into the bolster.  One is longer than the other.  I can't tell you which is which but it is a definite possibility.  The shaft I changed looked very similar to that.

Gary, the D47 parts book says also that shaft #343291 fits all 417 and 517 loaders.
It sure looks like the one in the Operator's manual for the 500 series loader for D-17 and D-19 tractors. It also looks a lot like the Ford shaft I bought on ebay for my D-17 gas.
That Steiner's shaft appears to have a larger spline than the shaft itself.

Here's a picture from the manual and a picture of the Ford pieces I bought.....
appear to be the same.

THE SHAFTS FOR D15, D14, D17 400 LOADERS IS 3/4' DIA. 6-SPLINE!!

THE SHAFTS FOR D-SERIES INDUSTRIAL FRONT PUMPS ARE 1" DIA. 6-SPLINE!!

THE SHAFTS FOR 170-175 FRONT PUMPS ARE 1" DIA. 6-SPLINE!!

Now that that is straightened out, Mike, your shaft is for a D15 Industrial reversed forklift to drive the front pump, which operates the   I have a used driveshaft on the shelf that I removed from said forklift 2 months ago. The shaft is 1" dia, and ~15.25" long. I can't find the parts book for that D15 forklift on AGCO, so I don't know the part number.

Edit- I believe it would be under the I-60 forklift, NOT I-600

Well, ya made me go out in the cold old barn and measure the shaft I have.

13-1/16" long X 3/4" dia. 6 spline......just like Joe says.

Good thing there is somebody like Alex who really knows what he's talkin' about!

And.......Mike Z, you sure are coming up with a bunch of oddball stuff!! LOL

Thank you guys. Again. Well I can't ask my grandfather anymore (God rest his soul) but he was good for just sticking random parts in a bin. And he also had been taking parts without marking index card. So we've been going through bins and updateing cards and finding stuff without cards.
Thanks guys

Mike I still haven't been able to track part # for that shaft, but it is for a TS-500 loader front pump. I will send you an email as I am interested in the shaft.
